Meet Carmen Pegg
Carmen's initial reason for becoming an entrepreneur was to have the ability to work around her growing children's needs and schedules. Now, after 14 years of running her business, she’s found a few more reasons to love working for herself. “I love running my own show,” she explains “And all the flexibility that comes with it!”
Grateful that her job gives her the ability to interact with all kinds of people on a daily basis, Carmen loves getting to see friendly faces every day. She also enjoys camping, curling and golfing during her free time and believes the golf course and community centre are two of the great hidden gems within her town.
Tumbler Ridge has gone through some challenges recently due to the ups and downs of the mining industry and now more than ever, it is important to support your local businesses. Carmen believes that the best way to encourage economic growth within Tumbler Ridge is to support the people who live there!
